Client: Industry leader in self-paced computer software tutorials

Application: Order processing system used by on-line customers and internal call centers.

Issues: Client desires to standardize QA processes to streamline the testing effort. This includes all aspects of the SDLC with a focus on software testing. The client also wants to prepare for test automation in the near future.

ProtoTest’s Solution: ProtoTest has customized our software quality and training course material specifically to the client needs. The material is being delivered in short sessions over a period of several weeks to ensure the information is bein absorbed and then implemented. Our senior staff consultant is not only delivering the course material, but working side-by-side with the client to help them implement the new processes and testing techniques.

Results: This effort is still underway and going extremely well. ProtoTest is able to tailor the material specifically to the client needs throughout the effort. The client has been able to incorporate new processes and standardize their tesing efforts. This is part of the overall objective of moving to an automated test suite in the future.
